CYSTOSEIRARE GENETIC STUDY
Cystoseirae are seaweed forming marine “forests”. They represent a shelter and a larder for many coastal fish species. Some cystoseirae are endemics on the Mediterranean sea and are threatened.
Their genetic understanding is one of their biological aspect which can allow to protect them. The Expedition will realize cystoseirae samples all along the sailing for ECOMERS laboratory.
