SALTED WASTES EXPOSITION

A movable artistic exposition has been created by the Beau-Arts Superior School of Marseille (ESBAM) and the artist Anita Molinero.

As part of its education mission, the ESBAM wishes to explore the question of the relationship between art and reality that faces students relating their artistic practice to contemporary problems.

Expedition MED 2010-2013 provides particularly interesting material for reflection:  the report on the pollution of the Mediterranean sea by micro and macro-waste plastic fragments raises questions about our response to this reality, through the collection of scientific data, and a multinational information and awareness-raising programme throughout the Mediterranean basin.

From this perspective, ESBAM students, supervised by the contemporary art artist Anita Molinero and the photographer Max Armengaud, designed and developed the exposition to link the connection between the aesthetic issues and reality.

The exposition film and the photograph gallery can be viewed from this site.
